The Shopping Night Barcelona

Shopaholics will be pleased on December the 3^rd, for the annual Shopping Night will take place in Passeig de Gràcia, the best shopping area in the city center. The shops will be open until 2am, and many activities will be organized in the streets.

This year’s edition will be under genius writer William Shakespeare’s influence: the streets will be divided into areas called by the names of his famous plays and the shops will play the game and propose you activities related to Shakespeare’s masterpieces.

In the different zones, you will be able to enjoy a large range of different activities, from all kind of food tasting to shows and exhibitions through make up sessions, dancing or music. Some brands will take advantage of the event to advertise their products, such as Porsche which will present its new model.

The Shopping Night Golden Award will reward the best window display during an elegant ceremony in Robert Theatre.

A shopping night in a festive atmosphere to discover and rediscover Shakespeare masterpieces such as The Tempest, Othello, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, and Antoni and Cleopatra. These plays will give their names to the different areas. There will be two other areas called a Midwinter Shopping Dream, in reference to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the Globe Theatre, in reference to the theatre where most of Shakespeare works were played.

Among many others boutiques, Brandy Melville, Furest, Longchamp, Santa Eulalia, Swarovski, or Timberland will take part in the event and remain open till late at night.

To help you keeping your strengths throughout the night, many food trucks and stalls will propose you various kind of foods, from classy burgers to cheese through chocolates or other street food dishes.
